A Communication Technician at MCC-New York (DOJ) emailed Jeff Cranor, a contractor for SigNet Technologies/FBOP, with the subject line 'mcc ny quote & Hard Drive Info.' Jeff Cranor responded simply with 'Thanks for the info.' This suggests an immediate inquiry into hard drive systems or procurement at the facility on the day of the incident.
