An email chain from December 2021 involving attorney Eric Lerner of Lerner & Lerner, P.C. Lerner contacts a recipient regarding a character witness recently called by the defense in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial. Lerner alleges that this witness, despite testifying positively for Maxwell, was actually responsible for scheduling sexual encounters between his client (a victim aged 14-15 at the time) and Jeffrey Epstein between 2001 and 2002. Lerner notes his client previously sued this witness but dropped the suit as a condition of a settlement with the Epstein Estate.
