3. Maxwell appeals from a judgment of conviction entered on June 29,
2022, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, by
the Honorable Alison J. Nathan, United States Circuit Judge, sitting by designation,
following a four-and-a-half-week jury trial.
4. Superseding Indictment S2 20 Cr. 330 (AJN) (the “Indictment”) was
filed on March 29, 2021, in eight counts. Count One charged Maxwell with
conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, in violation of 18
U.S.C. § 371. Count Two charged Maxwell with enticement of a minor to engage
in illegal sex acts, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2422 and 2. Count Three charged
Maxwell with conspiracy to transport minors to engage in criminal sexual activity,
